Feeling Good

Do you ever notice how wonderful life is when you're feeling good? When you're in a good mood all the world seems to come to life, you notice how everything around you is teeming with a joyous energy. This is the beautiful part of life. However there is a dichotomy. The darkside. It is the balance that gives you perspective for enjoying life. Don't despair, it's all under your control with the use of your thoughts. When you're feeling bad, notice what kind of thoughts you are having. When you are feeling good, notice what kind of thoughts you are having. Either way, you experience what you are thinking about. So if you want to enjoy more good things in life then think about those good things more often, and in time it will come around to you and make you feel good again. Even just changing your thoughts in the moment will help you to feel better and at the very least it will help you to stop feeling bad.

Let's say you're experiencing a bad situation and you can't seem to change your thoughts, the next best thing you can do is to give all of your attention to your breathing. Breathing is necessary to life and is a neutral zone that will help you to reset yourself. So give yourself a moment and take three big deep breaths, then pay attention to your breathing.

Also, when trying to improve your reality, the best way to know if you are doing the best thing for yourself is to notice how you feel in your center. Notice your feelings when you change your thoughts, and change your thoughts according to the feelings you most like to enjoy.

  1. Here I am, sitting down and visiting your wonderful blog, and to my great dismay see the absence of a new entry to enjoy for my evening reading pleasure. Do you realize what this could cause, if in fact this were to occur on a habitual basis? That's right, you could find yourself overburdened with an army of drooling, unable to wait any longer, Enjoy Life-reading, keyboard banging, Zombies... whom were brought here in the first place by a botched smear campaign championed by a loyal reader recently disenfranchised to your wonderful style of writing (one who will remain nameless for reasons clear and numerous--in variety), clearly due to a lack of reading material.
Just think about that, and in the meantime, I'll look up the word threat and think long and hard about how I will strategize for future incursions against this slight.
